| Too many people simply never question the corporate and biased media network's description of anarchy and not look into it for themselves.. Well, you should -- look into every philosophy, whether you like it or not.
Anarchism is a philosophy that advocates a horizontal structure of organization, versus the hierarchical, exploitative and oppressive structures known to most of the world. Most anarchists are socialists, which means they favor communism. Communism is not government -- communism is a social or economic organization that promotes the establishment of an egalitarian (equal), classless, and stateless society. There is a minority of individualist anarchists, which still are opposed to capitalism, but favor mutual markets.
Anarchists recognize that in order to be equal, no one should have more power over another. They also recognize that in order to have liberty, no one can have illegitimate authority over you.
Anarchists DO believe in voting, and perhaps moreso than capitalists. We simply don't believe in voting for a decision maker. Instead of having a workplace ruled or dictated by a CEO or group of bosses, decisions are made via consensus and direct democracy amongst the free and equal workers.
Many anarchists believe all things should be free, but others believe in participatory economics (an economic system, with money, that is run by and based on democracy).
All anarchists oppose private property and recognize that the more one expresses their "right" to own land, the less the next person can (who is trying to express the very same "right"). Some anarchists believe in public ownership (but not by government) of the land, and some believe that the land that was here before us shouldn't be owned by anyone (like the Natives).
I just did this on the top of my head, so if there's any questions just ask. If you're going to ask silly (reasonably answered) questions like "oh yeah? what about psychopaths!", please refer to the other topic.
Peace, Carlos | |

Yes. I suppose there could be large and small villages, but no borders -- they divide, and the human race should unite. Think about it -- are the people of the US and the people of Canada of any different race? No, we're all of the human race.

As an anarchist, I can say what's written down in those articles are historically accurate. Now that I know you're not Nationalist, just look into "Anarchism: What it is and is not" by Emma Goldman, I suppose.
