Just to be different (pessimistic or realistic), I think McCain will win.
REASONS WHY:

1) Polls meant nothing in 2000 and 2004, this is the result of having a corporate media.
2) The people who aren't saying who they're voting for are the ones who are voting for McCain, like those who voted for Bush in 2004. The reason is usually guilt.
3) The above reason, though with the "justification" that Barack is black (which I've heard way too many times) -- they should be opposing him because of his policies.
4) [You may or may not count this as a reason, it'll happen whether or not the Bush Administration has enough guts to do it] With a Republican in power, the administration could rig the elections (more than they already are).

You have somewhat of a point on the rigging of the election part. However, I am positive Obama's policies doesn't truly represent your opinions, just the ones they talk about most.

Most democrats want equal gay rights, yet Obama doesn't believe in gay marriage.
Most democrats want us out of Iraq, yet Obama is leaving 80,000 troops in Iraq.
Most democrats didn't believe in the Fisa bill (which allowed the the government to spy on citizens), yet Obama voted for it.Most democrats wouldn't want the Israeli oppression/genocide against the Palestinians to exist if they knew about it.

I can go on.. Democracy is about representing yourself -- you can't do that while voting for a candidate who is against your common beliefs (this is assuming that you do not believe in genocide, the Iraq War, unequal gay oppression, etc).

Oh yeah, the way that our institution of war is called Department of Defense and the way we're "helping" them "restore democracy". It doesn't automatically become okay when the leader you like more does it. "Helping them out a little" is for the Peace Corps, not for armed soldiers taught and ordered to kill anyone with a gun not in their uniform.

2) Instead of using your decision-maker's decision, how about you weigh out the pros and cons? One of the cons could be going to jail, simply for political dissent.
